So many of them reminded me

I started work at GPH in the middle of the pandemic. I haven’t know ‘normal’ life for the residents and staff. I have seen many residents pass away some with family, some without. Neither is easy, every time we lost a resident it created a larger and larger fear of COVID, Through the residents I learned a lot about resilience, strength, determination but most importantly LOVE!
I don’t think I would have made it through the pandemic if it wasn’t for the residents. So many of them reminded me of the beauty of life and that ‘yes, it is tough my dear; but look at how far we have made it, surely there is a little more gas in the tank’
