I give thanks for the fond memories

I have been a psw with                                  for 14 years now and I was proud when my dad asked me to be his power of attorney for health before we realized he starting struggling with dementia. I had lost my mom Sept. 25, 2009 so I still grieve everyday with her passing but what is hard is that my wonderful dad struggled with this dibilatating disease that robbed him of his memories of his wife and kids. I am feeling emotional because he passed away a year ago today at 8:20pm at the care home he spent his last 2 yrs of his life. I had the honor of being beside both my mom and dad when they took their last breath. I give thanks for the fond memories my mom and dad have left me with. I will always be blessed with them in my heart and the memories in my mind. Rest in Pease my wonderful parents.
