About 5 years ago a team of nurses was supporting a 40ish year old man in his palliative care. He wanted to die at home with his family. He had 2 young children and he had very high chances of bleeding out. The nurse worked with the mom and children to prepare an emergency kit. It had  2 movies, licorice, drink boxes and chips. When they client started quickly declining the mom called the nurse. When the nurse arrived she assessed the situation. The kids used their emergency kit while the nurse supported the wife and client in his death.
