A young girl taking on adult responsibilities

A young caregiver growing up too fast you were 10 years old when you found out your grandmother had Alzheimer’s, within 6 mths you grandfather tragically passed leaving family to care for your grandmother. You honorarly and thoughtfully stepped into action, you bathed her, dressed her, fed her, provided relief to your dad when he could take no more. A young girl taking on adult responsibilities and you continue to care for your grandmother in LTC as she declines.  You’re inspirational, dedicated and truly an amazing young woman.
