Caring for my family was the hardest “job” I had at their end of life, but I am forever grateful for the privilege of being there and the opportunity to share life moments, memories, joyful, and sorrow. It wasn’t easy, but somehow we made it, and accomplished the request to stay home. Their journeys have helped me be very real and present with my patients and families who have also taught me life lessons. remember life is short. Take a breath!!! Watch a sunrise and sun-fall. Enjoy the moments.
