Until we meet again

I wasn’t there when you died and I’m sorry. I know you were trying to wait until I got home-but you couldn’t wait any longer-the angels were calling you home. I was across the ocean in your homeland when you said goodbye. It crushed me-but I found comfort in the familiar environment I was in-my culture, my heritage-because of you. I will love you forever nonna and your legacy lives on in my daughter who has your name. Until we meet again-Ti amo
