As a nurse for over 20 years I have cared for many people in many settings from birth to death. One client and his family always remain fresh in my memory. It was a palliative client and I met him when he was still well and was there when he passed. He was my first home care client that died and although I have had many patients die, being in his home and with his family was the most fulfilling experience of my career.
