I feel like I knew you even though you never spoke a word to me. I could see how much everybody loved you by the way everyone was there with you. And I hope I made you feel loved too. I hope I made you feel safe. I hope I made you feel that you were not alone, that you didn’t need to be afraid. I miss you in that room. I miss your family and I’m grateful I was able to be there with you.
