The body is purely a vessel

I was not presented when my mother passed. In order to be present with her, I visited and viewed her deceased body in the hospital morgue. I realized upon seeing her the body is purely a ‘vessel’ to hold someone’s mind and spirit. It was also a moment that represents the idea of a circle of life. I was born in the hospital she breathed her last breath.
