Privileged and very humble

Today I think about all the times I have been with a person at the end of their life – (hours). They were mostly elderly friends whom I learned so much from, who have been encouraging me in my life struggles with my sons. Someone called me the Angel of Death – this didn’t sound good to me… but I know what she means; somehow I feel privileged and very humble to be in their presence – so close to God. I am also learning through this reflection how important it is to take a moment and think about me.
