My Dad asked “Am I going to make it”

Speaking to my Dad about his dying never would have come has I not been employed at hospice. My Dad told me in our conversation “I am not afraid to die but I sure will miss life.”

My Dad died in hospital under not so nice conditions. I did Reiki, saw my brother, who had passed over 20 years ago. My Dad asked me “Am I going to make it?” Before hospice I would have said of course, but I asked him what he thought … he said it is going to be a long hard road … within the hour he died, joined my brother as he had always wished.
